Copenhagen Wolves acquires three LGB eSports players

The leading Danish eSport organization Copenhagen Wolves and LGB eSports hereby wish to announce the transfer of three players from LGB eSports. Both organizations have Diglife on the ownership side, which have facilitated the transfer of the players.
The following players has been released from their contracts with LGB to form the new lineup: Morten “zeves” Vollan, Ruben “Rubino” Villarroel and Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad. These three players will form a new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive lineup alongside newcomers Simon “twist” Elliasson and Erik “zende” Sundeqvist. All players have signed a longterm deal with the Danish organization.

Jakob Lund Kristensen, Founder and CEO of Copenhagen Wolves, has released the following statement:

“We are extremely excited to once again return to the roots of the Copenhagen Wolves, as we venture back into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Since our last tenure, the game has seen an immense growth and we feel it is a natural and needed step for our company. Though our emphasis and priorities have always been on the development of Danish talents, we feel that this particular lineup is simply too talented, too hungry and too skilled to not become a part of our wolfpack. They share both the dedication and determination that we have been looking for and we have honoured this with a longterm deal that will provide them with the best possible circumstances to live up to their lofty potential.”

Hicham Chahine, Founder and CEO of Diglife, has released the following statement:

“As a group we are always looking at improving our electronic sports companies. With regards to this announcement we are excited about forming this new lineup in Copenhagen Wolves, and felt it was a natural step to transfer the LGB players to bring CS:GO back to Copenhagen Wolves. We will be actively searching for a new CS:GO lineup for LGB eSports and are excited about the future ahead for all our electronic sports organizations.”

The new Copenhagen Wolves CS:GO lineup will already be in action tonight, as they play the qualifier for DreamHack London starting at 21:00.
